Josef Julius Wecksell (19 March 1838 Turku - 9 August 1907 Helsinki) was a Finnish poet and playwright. He studied at the University of Helsinki. He was committed to the Endenich asylum, and then Lappvik asylum, from 1865 until his death. His poems were set to music by Sibelius.
